Rick Griffin, Sailing Instructor
I caught the sailing bug while learning to sail Hobie beach cats in 1995. I bought my own brand new Catalina 22' Sport in 2006 and started racing it in the Arizona Yacht Club series on Lake Pleasant.
I made a crossing from Hawaii to San Francisco to test my offshore skills and it's a pursuit that I would like to enjoy more. I have also sailed around the British Virgin Islands.
