Our USCG Licensed ASA Instructors can take you on your customized 2+ day "Cruise and Learn" certification vacation for one or more of the following ASA levels:

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR LESSON:

Purchase your Official ASA course book(s) online and study prior to arriving. Bring book, notebook and pencil.

Instructor will provide you with start time and more details on the overnight accommodations.

Bring water (please no metal/glass), sunblock, a hat, and light jacket per weather.

Shoes: non-marking outsoles, such as sneakers.

Bring sailing or other durable gloves for handling lines.

THE DAY OF YOUR LESSON:

Instructor will contact you with where/when to meet prior to the lesson. Please be on time.

It will start with classroom training, then move into hands-on boat training.
-
At the end of the lesson on the last day, you will be tested on the sailing portion, then take the written exam.

UPON COMPLETION OF COURSE:

If you pass the course, the instructor will contact ASA with verification. ASA will send you the official certification stickers(s).

If you do not pass, you will have up to one year from date of course completion to retake test, free of charge.
Gratuity is always appreciated, but not required.

There is no designated age minimum, but we recommend ages 16 and up, due to the physical requirements.
